I noticed that the wire mesh to engine intake port is loose. Is that normal or has to be tight at least or was it incorrectly installed? Mine is a 2015 Carrera S.

 

It's probably just not seated correctly. It's a fiddly piece and since I'm assuming you have someone else do your oil changes etc, they probably rushed putting it back on.

Try popping the fan housing off by pulling up on each of the four corners and readjust air intake. If there is something wrong with it those parts are super inexpensive plastic so no worries either way.

i'm going to have to check my mesh too now too, since i've never touched it since owning my car but now its important its there and its snug! lol

 

Ah, from the Facebook post Sara showed me, I thought it was an aftermarket front intake screen. See Eric's reply above.
