Every time I wash there is a some water that gradually drips out of the mirror where it attaches to the car. The next day there are always water spots down the door. I've dried and even hit mirrors with the leaf blower but it still happens.
Any good way of preventing this? Tks

 

I have the sport design mirrors and experience this issue too. I now twist the mirrors to face downwards after washing. The drips stop quickly and you don't get this problem.

 

Every car I've ever owned has done that.

Hmm...... I think this definitely gets listed as a First World Problem?

 

Ignore the baby and cut a piece of a microfiber rag and slip it in below the mirror glass, just above the outer cover, and it will soak up any water that weeps down from inside.

 

I snapped my mirror off doing this. Be cautious.

Dry with a leaf blower .... Simple , effortless , fast , effective, eliminates scratches from conventional drying methods and eliminates the same issue from tail lights dripping,

 

Thank you for the warning! I wasn't aware that this would hurt the mirror.
Tilting them up... is that going to risk damaging them?

Dries brake discs (prior to Hyde’s), gets water out of mirrors, headlights, taillights, behind license plates, air intake, spoiler baffles, etc.

Love it.

 

I use this and pivot the mirror at a few different points. After about 56 hours, all of the water is gone and I don't get any drips

In all seriousness, it works pretty well.

Had this, like everyone else.

I dry the rest of the car (blow dry, then towel without moving the towel across the paint), and then take a sheet of paper towel and carefully slip it up under the gap at the mirror base (only there, so as not to scratch the paint below/beside the mirror). The paper towel gets wet as it soaks up the water hiding up there...no more problem.

Works like a charm.
