Love it! I want to do the 911R stripes on my White GTS. I also have the Glass sunroof. I hate it. I had it T5 tint (The darkest tint, to try an block out all light.

So I want the roof stripes. Being a white car, and I have PORSCHE down the side in Black, I want Black stripes. Because they would disappear on the roof, I thought about doing a White Block in the centre, and that would make the outer glass look like black stripes. Thoughts?

Wow, thank you all for your kind words!

Just read all the replies, and I am truly happy -and relieved- to hear all these positive comments. It is funny because today my wife was telling me that she was lukewarm about the stripes... and my response was: "but the guys at Rennlist like it!", hahaha.

It is nice to share stories with like-minded folks around here!

Here's another take on hood stripes. Since I have a base, I didn't want anything resembling the higher performance cars. I also wanted to lean more towards a classic look, rather than aggressive. Note I had this done by a shop since it was a complicated install (multiple stripes):

The black is flat, while the gold is slightly speckled. I like how the colors tie the roof and the Porsche badge together.

I'm very happy with how it turned out:

Default Hood stripes for the Carrera T

Hello Alex_C,

I have a similar Carrera T and would like to add the hood stripes. In checking the website for Highgatehouse I do not locate the appropriate parts to order. Could you share their part number with me.

Thanks

As you should! Looks great. Keeping the stripes wide/no taper is a solid choice imo. Well done!

I want to do stripes too but can't think of anything that works on Guards Red. Any suggestions?

Hi Billy,

They don´t have a specific part number for these stripes. Send an email to Rick: sales@highgatehouse.co.uk and tell him you want the stripes for the Carrera T. You have to select CUSTOM-250 for the hood stripes, CUSTOM-250 for the roof stripes and CUSTOM-150 for the engine cover stripes, plus an additional CUSTOM-10 for shipping. These part numbers are generic, and just indicate the cost of each set of stripes in British Pounds.

If you send the email to Rick first, he will then know what you want when he sees the order.

Well worth the cost, and they are a perfect color match to the side stripes.

As you can see in my pictures, I did not get the roof stripes as they would be lost on the black roof/glass sunroof.

Cheers!

Alex.

I normally don't like stripes on street cars (most are too loud and boy racer), but that's classy.

Not for me (takes away from my stealth mode car color Carrara white) but your attention to detail for the install is commendable.

Well done.

If my 911 was white, I would be SO tempted to go with Martini stripes!

Looks great, I didn't think I'd like it, but it works.
