Comfort Access Improvement
I have the Entry & Drive option but the seat did not move back nearly enough for me and I had to manually move the seat back, up until now. I set one key to save my driving positions, which is stored in #1 and I set the other key to save settings in #2 that move the seat all the way back and the steering wheel in & up. So now when I open the door I push #2 to move the seat/steering wheel and after I sit down, but before I close the door, I push #1 so I am ready to drive. And when I stop driving I open the door and push #2 for much easier exiting. Finally, I unchecked Comfort Access in the settings since there is no need to have it move otherwise.

Comfort Access, when selected in the settings, only moves the seat back a couple inches, which is not nearly enough for me based on where I have my seat placed for driving...others have reported having the same problem. My wife's SUV has comfort access and the seat goes back at least 6", which is ideal.

My seat moves like Bob's, only a few inches. If there is a way to move the seat all the way back with comfort access, please let everyone know. I have a .1 and I think Bob has a .2.

Correct, I have a .2 and there is no way to make it move all the way back with Comfort Access alone; however, if MGC 911 can prove me wrong I, and many others, would like to know what how you made it happen.

correct. Mine is the same. It moves back 2-3 inches. Not all the way back. I had never noticed that because it wasn’t really a problem for me.

I think people are missing the point here. Comfort Access is supposed to move the seat back to make it easier to get in and it not supposed to stay all the way back! Did anyone read my initial post? I am not saying it should move the seat back and stay there!

I too would prefer an extra couple of inches of space but I think the point is that the seat doesn't reset to the "driving" position until one starts the car. Reaching the clutch is a requirement of starting the car … Now if the seat reset once the driver door was closed, it would be ideal for the seat to go much farther back.
