Any update on the ducktail design? Particularly to accommodate the 991.2 (not Turbo, S models with side scoops) models which have turbo’s but no side scoops for cooling? It would seem that you would need to incorporate a scoop in front of the ducktail (like RUF’s recent GTS launch). Maybe you could incorporate GT3 like scoops to occomodate cooling and intercoolers?

Any update on the cooling concept would be appreciated. I am itching to add some ducktail option this year

Thread update, The ducktail was sent out for paint, preliminary designs of the enhanced cooling version (full replacement for the rear wings and oil/water/fans cover) is almost ready to show off.

I’m itching to pull the trigger on a rear ducktail. A couple of other offerings just came out recently. I would really like to see your offering (even concept) before I pull the trigger on some other. It might just be worth the wait.

Thanks

Hey guys, thanks for being patient, the original out of the mold is almost done with paint. Hopefully have some pictures up by the end of the week.

As for the full rear decklid replacement panel mentioned earlier im not quite far enough along to start sharing publicly. In the past we have had other vendors that specialise in the one thing we were doing (obviously can move faster than we can) blatantly rip us off and im trying to reduce the chance of this happening.

Who all would be interested in a group video chat that we can provide login credentials for? This would be for everyone more interested in the full replacement decklid with enhanced cooling for the 991.2, If your interested in this just shoot us a DM titled Decklib reveal. If enough interest comes from this we will do a video call to go over some of the details and more importantly the renders of the piece. Sorry for added complexities but im sure you all can understand my attempts at safeguarding our IP.

Is it possible to order these ducts for the GT3 from Suncoast?

It would nice to see the finished ducktail but I think it is essential to understand how you plan to handle the cooling for the base, S and GTS (non Turbo/S) models which don’t have side scoops and rely on the rear active spoiler to ram air to the inter coolers, fans. When you talk about decklid with “enhanced cooling” are you talking about the base, S and GTS model range? If it’s the Turbo/S model then I’m not interested.

If it’s for the base, S and GTS then I am interested in the full decklid / active spoiler replacement.

Thanks

Any true wind tunnel testing as this wing will upset the aerodynamic balance and any empirical testing re the effect upon different motors?

They have been re-working their webpage for the last few weeks (it really should have a placeholder "under construction" or something, though - this isn't 1995!).

Their FB page is active, though. I saw the prototype in post #12 in person so I can say that at least that exists LOL.
