Effect of psm sport on rev matching
Ok. When i first got the T i was curious about the 1-2 shift feeling weird. It turns out there is definitely a throttle blip in sport (worse) and sport plus (not as bad but still there). Last couple weeks have been experimenting with traction control; psm sport and psm off.
Psm sport: throttle blip is much, much shorter in duration on 1-2 shifts (less intrusive and potentially useful). Downshift rev matching also feels more precise. For some reason the transmission mapping with PSM sport engaged (both sport and sport plus driving modes) makes the transmission feel as it should have been from the factory
Psm off: nothing new here, this is gangster mode with all the nannies turning off

Glad you mentioned this - I've noticed the same thing w.r.t. 1-2 blip on shifting in Sport and Sport+ - this is on a 991.2 C2S. I was going to ask my dealer if this was expected. I guess I won't any more
