Same here but incredibly, many would.

Easy enough to determine without "guessing". How do you think Porsche won so many victories, by guessing?

Do a dyno run before and then one with the aftermarket filter immediately after. Simple!

7100 bls. with me in it on all terrain tires and running 10.70's @ 129.4 MPH in the 1/4. (0-60 in under 3 secs.).

Dyno Vid. (Older vid- before the above vids)
No traction at hwy. speeds in 2WD with just rolling into the boost.

I just had the stock filters replaced on my 991.1 C2 today @ 33,000 miles. I'm guessing they haven't been changed since the car came off the factory, so that would make them about 6 years old today. My lord where they filthy!!!! I must have been losing a ton of power because of them. I definitely feel a little more oomph on the car compared to stock. Regarding the sound, it's pretty similar to the old filters under power, but maybe a little deeper in tone? But more importantly I can totally hear the air rushing into the intake box now as a strong sucking sound, it sounds great!

You mean compared to a stock dirty filter.

Partially correct. 991.2 gt3 touring come with conical BMC filters from the factory.

LOL

I'm sure I've done more stupid things in life. This was one of 3 different highly modded diesel I've had over the years. The others were in the 800-900 whp range.

But there's something really fun about picking on extremely quick Exotic Cars with a stock looking Diesel Truck (evil grin).

Glad you enjoyed the vids. Cheers!

On an otherwise stock car, "high flow air filters" will noticeably increase intake sound and maybe give you a tad more HP (depending on how highly calibrated your butt dyno is). You'll get the most benefit on a tuned car with other intake/exhaust mods.

Yeah, definitely. The BMC filter is a the first upgrade before I get an exhaust and sports cats, which will help out a lot.
