Default PASM lip installed

My fiancee gave me a brand new lip for my car for my birthday! After the 3 minute install, it made a huge difference in the look of the car!

The PASM lip looks great! I installed one on my car a few months ago, just be warned, it does tend to scrape a heck of a lot more than the old lip, ramps that I would have no problem with before require me to go at an angle or super slow. Its made me reconsider getting a 30mm drop on my car.

It DEFINITELY scrapes more. My car is lowered also, which doesn't help

It would look great painted to match but only if you can tolerate the scrapes.

I'm still on the fence about painting it

I had the one on my Targa GTS painted and all of the lower black plastic was factory painted, which I think looks better on my car due to the color. Darker colored cars IMO can get away with the lowers staying black but lighter cars look better painted, or at the very least the side sills, which make the car look lower.

Zzzlow, great gift but I think the general opinion would be to paint.

Those that painted it body color..... special paint specific for rubber? Where did you get body color in a spray?
Or did you take to body shop?
thanks all!

It is plastic and it does take some prep work before painting; however, I had Eric at Bumperplugs.com paint mine but I assume you could take it to any body shop.

I love my PASM lip, as well. As others have said it scrapes much more easily. After a while, and a few scuffs later, I take a sheet of finely-grained sandpaper to it, curved around the edge, and work out the rough areas; good as new!

Nice upgrade, where did you purchase it from and how much does it cost?
