I keep hearing "full" leather here, and if it has full leather, then definitely get it. An by full leather, I mean full leather. When I ordered my '18 GTS I got the leather interior option at $3850. A while later while bored, I went back to the configurator and added up all the additional leather pieces one could order to have full leather, and it came to another $13,500.

If I had to choose, it would be SC, but I'd rather have both.

These are both CPO, right? If new, forget both of them and start looking at available CPO 991.2's in your 1/3 of the country. You can have your cake and eat it, too...

What pieces in particular did you feel were missing? I have the leather option and just added the leather sun visor as it is a high touch and visibility item. However, I was not keen on the vents or replacing the piece at the base of the windshield. Just curious on your thoughts.

IMHO:
ANY 991: spectacular driving experience
any 991 with SC: spectacular+

991 base interior: less than mediocre
991 with full leather: elegant and rich looking

For me, the incremental gain from the interior upgrade is far greater than incremental gain from SC.

I guess the answer which one to give a priority depends on whether you are more looking inside or outside of the car

I like SC but love full leather. Depends on your need but manual tranny SC is not that important but PDK is a must for me. Luckily I found a car with both and that stinking PDCC thingy too.

I have both, and I twould hate to trade one for the other on my C4S.

No one has mentioned my favorite feature of SC, which is to be able to switch it into Sport a few miles before getting home to bring the oil temps back down into the 190's after cruising on the highway at temps in the high 220's in non-sport mode. This car is extremely efficient- on the highway- I got 31.4 avg mpg from LA to San Diego last week.

The inevitable answers to these sorts of questions leads me to speculate that there's somebody getting flamed on a Lotus forum for wondering if two ply is acceptable for floor mats or should he stick with single for the weight savings.

I lucked out and got both Sport Chrono and a full two-tone leather. And, I very much enjoy both.

One benefit that I have noticed (though may be incorrectly assessing) is that I've never heard of anyone have the issue of the warping door panels when they have the leather package. Not sure if it's the slightly different construction of the door card, or simply the difference in materials, but I've only ever noticed the rising warp of the interior door panel along the window on the base interior doors.

The leather ones, as far as I can tell, don't ever seem to develop this issue.

So far (if you pardon my interpretation of some of the replies) we got:

Leather - 18
SC - 18
Both - 10

I am sure "both" would've won, however some tried to reply to the OP's question more straightforward.

We are a funny bunch. Don't come here if you are looking for consensus or a conclusion to your question! Feel sorry for the OP.

Ha, is it us or PAG who cultivates the diversity with all the options?
