Just put Cobb Stage 1 on my T
I know I'm late to this party, but thought I'd share anyway. My dealership handled everything, Picked up my car at my house on Monday, Ordered the access port, sent out ECU and installed when is was back and dropped the car back at my house Friday morning. I could have saved some money doing it myself but having my dealer involved seemed smart.
I only have about 30 miles in the car since the tune but Wow! Easy on the gas and it feels stock. Tip in the throttle a little more and off it goes. The power comes on fast, linear and smooth but it comes on fast. Very happy so far!

The dealer charged $2250 which included the cost of the access port, removing and shipping ECU, reinstalling ECU, and doing the flash and test drive. They literally picked my car up on Monday and brought it back to me on Friday morning and they handled everything in between. Best money I've spent on any of my toy cars. Just took it for a run this morning and got to really wind it out. Car felt amazing.

I have a base '17, manual and want to do this so bad, I keep pulling back, (approach avoidance behavior) worried about warranty issues. My dealer is mod friendly, but I still have reservations. Talk me out of it and I'll do it when I swap back to summer tires.

A little confused here. I have a 991.2 GTS and as far as I know, a stage 1 doesn't require removing the ECU. It entails just driving for 15 minutes with the Access Port in "log mode", and then email the CSV log file to Cobb Tuning. In return, they email you back a custom ECU map that you upload via Access Port to the car...and you now have a stage 1 tuned car. What did I miss?

I still don't understand why the ECU was shipped off?
