Default Exhaust options?

I was considering installing this. My buddy advises that this is the best bang for the buck and since I have sport exhaust this would work best. It's about $1000 plus install.

If you're dealing with a 991.2 with PSE, I'd recommend you also check with Mike and John at Soul Performance. Personally, I've had much better experience with Soul and nothing but problems (and an extreme lack of customer care) with Fabspeed on two separate Porsche installations (cars which I still own). I found Soul's customer service and product quality second to none and they are highly engaged on this board.

Do a search of this forum and you will find the answer to your question, and search Google for videos and you can hear them all.

Phil from Fabspeed here.
We are sorry to hear about your “extreme lack of customer care” with us in the past. Recently we have made great strides to increase our customer service department and train our great sales team to have a better role in the customer service department. We at Fabspeed put the Customer first and are always making improvements internally to become the best company for our loyal customers. We would like to talk to your about your previous experience with our company and try to figure out were our issues stemmed from and fix this issue for the future. I will PM you so that we can talk about your experience.

We have an industry leading warranty program!!

Glad I'm not the only one... Their sales approach and technique is rather dishonest and customer service is atrocious. FabSpeed is the Walmart of Porsche aftermarket parts.

Stay away from FabSpeed.

I can chime in on my experience with Fabspeed... I ordered a set of exhaust tips during their Black Friday sale, asked if there's a way they could expedite the process since I had some work travels scheduled... was able to get my tips two days later without any additional fees (Philly to NYC) - so I was pleased

About 3 months later they did do just a general follow up call to see how things are and if I had any other needs, weren't pushy or anything.. .so I guess pleasant was how I'd put my experience

Soul is your answer. Look nowhere else for 991.1 and .2 non GT.

Good answer. I am not a customer but do appreciate an answer like this rather being being defensive. There is a guy on this forum from Antigravity Battery that could learn a few things from this response.

Have you considered our Cat Bypass Pipes? We offer the best possible pricing and back them with a Lifetime Warranty - including track use! Every weld on each set is back purged for maximum strength. I invite you to check out our lengthy development thread and our commitment to the community. You can call John or I any time and we'd be happy to go over all options and make sure you get what you need.

i like my SOUL sport cats on a .2 with PSE. Very clean and easy installation, great sound.

To OP: Expect a oil burn smell wo cats. Not pleasant.

Default Prices

What’s the price on a 991.1 C2 with no PSE for a cat back with valves in CAD? I’ve inquired with Armytrix and IPE with the regional distributor $6,000-$7,500 - nice sound but pretty ridiculous pricing IMO. I know I’m a 911 owner but I wouldn’t be here if I’d throw away $7500 without a thought...

How are the pops and gurgles on a C2 manual? Loud, constant, annoying? What’s the characteristic vs stock for the fabspeed vs soul?

I've just ordered the ipe full exhaust + headers. 1-2mths wait. U can prob get it for less than 5k usd for the full set before tax if u contact the correct distributor
