You guys are all crazy. I wouldn't even pay MSRP for a car that has been half repainted.
This whole bubble has already started to deflate, and will get worse.
If these cars were selling for the prices they were asking, they wouldn't be sitting around.

This post made me check the calendar to make sure its not 4/1 or 4/20 for that matter....

FYI I let my lowly 991.2 C2S build go once I discovered there was damage prior to delivery.. The dealer didn't care too much and now there's someone out there driving a C2S that I spec'd lol.
As I mentioned.. If you're serious, keep bugging them with the info you have and even call PCNA.

I'm always down to troll a dealership..

I made a $15k over MSRP over to Circle Porsche but I doubt they'll bite. MSRP is at $350k. If anyone knows how I can get one at sticker or slightly over, please let me know. My sweet MSRP spot is at $330k.
Thanks!

I called them back today and they were a little more receptive to my MSRP offer @ "between 30k and 60k". I don't get this non-sense. Just trying to get a damn car I can track with a Porsche warranty to back it up

Start a thread on vandalized cars, without pictures, and to try and discourage interest in the cars only to try and get one for yourself at MSRP?? Geez, seen it all. Only on Rennlist.

Agree ...
I'd think his guy was a suspect just trying to get a deal here

What surprises me is so many GT cars at dealerships right now. Here in Orlando, both dealers have more GT cars than I would have expected. Are y'all seeing this in other parts of the country?

Seems to be the case around the country. Between 991.1 and now .2's, that's quite alot of cars and many of the same guys keep trading up and dumping the old ones. Plus Porsche has bumped up production for the USA and I think the many who were buying for a quick flip or buck are dropping like flies.
They are cars and depreciate like the rest of them. That's the reality that always come to be ..
These aren't limited production cars guys. The perceived scarcity is manufactured by the dealers and flippers. Pretty soon 992 GT's will be here as well. The thought that these cars will never depreciate is idiotic and naive.

Depending on the state there are disclosure obligations as to new cars and repaired damage. Unfortunately, I don’t think the paint work on keying would do it in my state as not enough $$$. Anyway, how would you feel if you bought a GT2RS with undisclosed paint work? Hopefully you got pics and VINs.

It seems a little harsh to jump to that conclusion and question someone's integrity purely based on what's been posted in this thread so far.
