Default RUF GT ducktail better for airflow to ICs?

Just saw about the RUF GT modded 991.2. I wonder if their ducktail has a better scoop to get more air thru the ICs...

Nice find!

If its RUF, its functional. I love it, especially how the rear slats are back to 991.1 style. I wish there were some rear shots. Do want!

That’s awesome, looks very promising.
I only live 2 hours away from RUF headquarter. Yet an other reason to visit them.

Do they have locations in the US?

I've heard that the parts can be ordered ala carte. Would love to get the ducktail.

Yes they do. But here's the part from their German website. I really like it too- blows away the oversized ricer type ka-ka from Tech-Art et. al. IMO.

USA Site: RT35 Aerokit ON SALE!! LOL Looks like they don't let you have just the rear spoiler. You will have to replace the rear decklid, bumper cover, and possibly re position the exhaust tips.....

Thanks for the info. I do love the rear screen covered vents in the rear bumper....

This link: https://ruf-automobile.de/en/modell/8465/ seems to show a PSE

Hopefully one day we can just order the rear exhaust valence.

They didn't. The RUF rear aero is BOTH a diff rear bumper cover as well as the ducktail. Specifically states for the 991.1. Cool thing tho is that it will fit either narrow or wide-body 991s.

The black picture in the OP is a 991.2 and it looks to be the same as the green 991.1 posted above (the duck tail).

Ah, ok -- perhaps they are just now announcing/releasing the 991.2 version? Program for the .2's aren't listed at all on the web site unless I missed somehow. I thought the comment (since it didn't quote) was referring to the RUF catalog pic of the green 991.1 (since it appears to have venting that mimics the .2 bumper cover....). Lost the context of your post.

Back to the airflow question. If Ruf offers it for their 515 Hp 991.2, I'd be satisfied it provides good airflow to the ICs.
