Just took delivery about an hr ago (yes, just after midnight) from my guy that brought it to me from Memphis. 2012 Carrera S in aqua blue metallic, just under 40k on the clock, 1 owner and CPO for the next 2 yrs. All the options that I cared about save SPASM which I can live without. Moving to this car from an Aston V8 Vantage and a 996, have previously owned a 987.1 as well. Pretty excited, although I about shat myself when I heard the skipping of the tires when low speed turning being it's a very cold night in the metro Atl area tonight. All else seems well aside from a large rock hit at eye level the dealer conveniently didn't tell me about. Excited to get behind the wheel and get some driving in soon.

How did you get it used from the first owner and have it CPO'd?

 

 

1st owner traded it back in to the original dealer, they CPO'd it and i bought it from them.

thanks. the wife and i usually try to make the rallys and some of the organized drives/tours, but it seems as if every one last yr (and so far this yr) falls on a wkend where we already have something lined up. i did just join that fb group though. cheers.

Excellent snag! It's interesting to note of your brief visit to the world of the AM Vantage. I too looked at one of those and was very close to pulling the trigger UNTIL I drove an 06 C2S and I was sold. I've been in a Porsche ever since. Welcome back and beautiful car!
