I'm wondering how that significant power increase is possible with a muffler replacement. The folks at Soul demonstrated in a video with a cutaway of the oem sports exhaust that it's essentially a straight pipe with the valves open. Is this dyno comparison with the oem pse measured with the valves open?

I installed the SW exhaust first on my Carrera T. It sounded slightly deeper than stock wasn't a huge difference but definitely noticeable. Pretty big weight savings and quality is on point. Then..... I installed Vektor headers ( still stock cats ) and thats when it really came alive, sounds amazing in all modes.. Loooovvveee it!!! Not plans on any further exhaust mods..

Well, hard to say about that dyno... There's not much info. It was done in Colorado at altitude, so that could play into some funky things with correction factors. The baseline dyno could have accidentally been done in normal mode. Who knows. Unfortunately, there's just not much reference for PSE exhaust dynos back to back with aftermarket. The for sure thing is the change in sound and mass reduction at the best place to remove it, the absolute rear of the car. I do believe it would free up a couple HP, but I doubt 20hp.
