Default Carbon Fiber Project

My 2017 991.2 CSC came with aluminum trim but today I swapped some of it out to matt carbon fiber from DB carbon. Thanks to TX991 for all your help and very cool PDK with a manual collar idea.

I really like it. Personally, I wouldn’t have done the door handles and shifter. I like the combo of aluminum and CF. Looks great though

I actually like the door hands. The shifter I could have gone either way. I do have the steering wheel surround on order in matt CF. I'll post pictures in April when they come in.

I would love to see that steering wheel. I really do like it. Really changes the interior.

Nice to see others not afraid to make changes...the more the merrier.

Personally I'm not a fan of any CF trim. CF is a wonderful and highly engineered material used for strength to weight and stiffness to weight ratio. Interior trims are the exact opposite place for CF. Purely on the aesthetics perspective I don't care for it as well. Obviously, to each their own.
