2017 991.2 - trying to adjust the microphone sensitivity from 0 to +4.

I set the sensitivity in the volume menu to 4 in the AM, FM and CARPLAY sound menus and select "set - key" and "set driver 1" on the door.

Every time I turn the car off, walk away, lock the car and come back to start the car the microphone settings reset to " O " again...

What am I doing wrong ?
