IMO, the Classics are way nicer than the thick sport technos, especially in person.

Yes, hard to go wrong with Carrera S wheels! What I ordered for my new car. I think I saw somewhere that they are lighter too.

I think they’re quite nice.

I had the Carrera Classics on my .1 S and didn’t care for them. A multi-spoke wheel like them is more of luxury look, as has been stated, and to my eye doesn’t fit the 911 persona. Otherwise, they’re a nice looking wheel— just not for a sports car. I ended up buying aftermarket wheels and sold my CCs. I got $1,200 for the set. And it took a while to get a buyer.

When I bought my car, I wasn't too keen on them. I originally wanted the Platinum Silver Carrera S III wheels (coincidentally for sale right now in the Marketplace), but the Carrera Classics have definitely grown on me. They're more elegant/sophisticated than sporty. I'm keepin' em. I have other wheels for when I want to get "sporty."

Carrera S wheels. Easily my favorite, too. Especially in titanium grey!

Everyone has a favorite, but those are by no means considered an ugly wheel. I agree with the comments that they are less sporty and more elegant. To the degree that they are certainly not right for my T, but that didn't stop me from buying a set. Unless you find a car below value(and therefore enticing to buy another set.), I would just search for one with wheels you like.

I like em.

The lobsters on my 06 997 were the worst Porsche has ever designed.

Thanks!

Indeed, those are terrible terrible looking rims.

How much do you want for them if you buy the car?

If you don't like them, best is sell those wheels and use the money gained from that to offset the cost of some forged wheels, if you don't want to spend too much, then go with some Flow Flow type wheels.
