"Volkswagen Group's Porsche shared the second-place spot and won the first-ever award for the most dependable vehicle in the industry: the Porsche 911 sports car."

Researchers tracked 177 specific problems in eight major categories.

The industry average was 136 problems per 100 vehicles.

Yes, Porsche has been quite reliable for a while. However, it's first time ever that announced as most dependable car in 911's 55 year history. Congratulation Porsche.

Honestly, J D Power is a pay to play industry shill. Their opinions mean nothing to me, even if they picked my horse.

and no doubt many of the 177 problems across 8 specific categories would not apply to Tesla.

I have a 2016 GTS. Overall, it has been rock solid and it is a keeper for sure. That being said, I have had two things fixed under warranty: The hose for the windshield wiper fluid broke and the gas tank liner had to be replaced because it was faulty, leading to a squeak when the tank was more than half full.
