Quick Jack for 991.2

Thanks. The thought that Costco might accept it as a return even after the warranty expired occurred to me while writing my review. I'll give it a try.

It's the main reason I buy everything I possibly can from Costco (except electronics, which is the only thing with limited return windows). I actually bought the QJ in August but it arrived after I ruptured my Achilles. Since it was going to be months until I could use it we returned it unopened. Now it looks like QJ upgraded the specs on their new units so maybe it'll work out well for us late adopters. Good luck!

I have a 991.2 Carrera Cabriolet. Bought a Quick Jack 5000 from Costco. Absolutely no problems with Costco or the Quick Jack. Just did my first oil change last week. The only problem I have is I hang them on the wall in my garage and they are a little heavy to raise up to the hanging brackets. Other than that they are the best thing since "sliced bread". Great investment.

I have a 7000 that works fine on my 991.1. Had to purchase the 6" lenght extensions to be able to lift my CTS4 ... great product EXCEPT the weight.

Exactly what I do. They're not worth monkeying around when a vehicle will pass over the top of them. This is the space in the garage for my pickup. The graphics on that old carpet helps me to align the Porsches over the QuickJack when I need to use it.

That's surprising. My 991.1 GTS with SD is lowered more than SPASM and it clears with no issue. However there's very little change of grade from the driveway to the garage and the pitch is away from the garage. If it were opposite I can see how it could catch. I back into my garage as a matter of course, so I can see how close I am to all the junk I have against the wall lol

I'm looking for a lift and am struggling to find a scissor type that is not made in China. I did find post style lifts but my garage ceiling is too low for this style.
Can anyone recommend a lift?

Here you go.. RE: 7000 TLX this is under my 15 991.1 TTS. Was few inches to spare in front/rear and plenty room to fit the pucks into the their lift spots. I've only used it on my Tacoma truck so far, but plan to use the lift on the porsche for exhaust upgrade, brakes, fluids, inspections.
Over all I'm really happy to have this jack in my garage now and can also use on heavy vehicles as well. Definitely a lot safer and nice to get the whole car up in a few minutes of placing the jacks.
Wear rubber gloves when assembly. The jacks DO NOT come with the fluid, I purchase 3 quarts of ATF fluid and needed 2 1/2 of it to work the jack all the way to the top position. Also I used pipe thread for the connector, I used the liquid stuff it came with but leaked like crazy. Well apparently takes 24 hours to cure the liquid stuff, not anywhere in the instructions. I then research and others said the liquid stuff even after curing for the thread sealant for lines, it leaked anyway so I wrapped in teflon tape and got up and running right away. Just be careful to leave about a thread or two bare so no teflon gets into the system. Being new to hydraulic, took me another 30 minutes to bleed and get them operating together correctly.

I have SPSAM and I can't get my 991.1 over the QJs without jacking the car up and putting it back down. I just need another extra 1/4" or something. I'm using the smaller rubber lift blocks and the hockey pucks. Kind of a PIA to jack it up each time to get it just high enough. I have the 5000 QJ if that makes a difference.
