Too hard to answer since it depends on mileage, options, year, condition, warranty remaining, etc. etc. etc.

Really, anything under $1000 for a complete running car would be pretty good.

If you are looking for a used car, I'd narrow down the options you must have. Not all 911's are built the same.

For whatever reason they’re holding value well. Seems like my loaded 2017 C4S didn’t drop too much after 7 months. Posted prices...

110-120k for completely loaded 4S
100-110k for less options for S
80-90k for base cars (typically low options)

Under 5k is considered low miles and you’ll pay a little more. Around 20k miles is normal. Worse condition (maybe often teamed with high miles) is what lets you negotiate lower. I’d say dealer will have 5-7k+ mark up.

If were you, I’d try get a manual S car with lots of options for under 95k. 90K best case scenario.

Manual coupes hold their value well. I would say for a 2017 Carrera S manual, with lowish miles, you’re looking at around $99k.,

I've looked and it's hard to find anything less than $100k unless it's 20k+ miles

I just finished a 2 month search for a 2019 911 S/GTS and prices vary depending on the options installed on the individual car. The approach I took was to negotiate an acceptable % discount off of MSRP. My goal was %5 minimum for a car.

For the new 2019 S models, MSRP prices ranged from $128k to $132k for a manual car nicely equipped.

Used , you might find a low optioned one that can be had for near $100k for a nice low mileage 991.2 S. Ive seen a few low mileage S's asking down near $110 with decent options. Some higher mileage S's will undoubtedly sell under $100 k.
For the S, the good news is the X51 PowerKit can be dealer installed at a very reasonable cost, especially after selling the S takeoff turbos. So on a well optioned S, u end up with a "narrow" body GTS. My X51 S is better equipped than 90% of all the GTS i could find in the 48 states, and it cost me a lot le$$ than a GTS. For me, that's a win win.

Just remember you can get one of those $10 trunk liners to make you feel better about the whole thing.

Just out of curiosity, What the cost of having the X51 PowerKit installed? Does that need to be done at the dealer ?
