If you have a rear drive GTS, you do not need to. The one shown fits the Carrera 4 GTS and is a bit smaller.

I don't understand which one you mean by "the one shown" -- yours? I have a rear drive GTS, and it will not take a tote that is more than about 16.25" deep.

The OP's Home Depot tote was 27" wide x 18" deep x 12.5" high. I bought one of those for my 991.1 C2 and it fit just fine, but it didn't fit in my 991.1 rear drive GTS because its frunk is about 2" less deep (front to back dimension).

The Sterilite tote you pictured is only 16" deep, so it will fit in my GTS, but I can't find it anywhere. The best I could do was a tote that measures 23.5" x 16.25" x 13.5". It just fits the GTS for depth but is about 4" too narrow and can slide left and right. I just put a rolled up towel in the frunk along side of the tote to stop that.

Anyone know if the bin that kicked off this thread will fit in a 992 frunk?

I don't know about the 992, but it doesn't fit in a 991 C4 trunk. Not the same size frunk as the C2.
Found out once my wife bought it.

The one identified by the OP fits perfectly in my 2017 991.2 C2S (with FAL).

Thanks to this thread, I've found a solution I like better than the OE Porsche option. About to pick one up today from HD! Here's the link for anyone interested: https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-17-G...LDBY/205808350

This was a great idea. As soon as I saw it I went to Home Depot and bought the HDX 17 gallon container and it works perfect. Makes my 991 look even better from the inside out. Just when i think my 991 cant get any better a member on this amazing website finds a way to make it even better. Good job. Oh and make sure you buy the HDX 17 gallon unit because Home Depots sells 3 different 17 gallon containers and the other two don't fit.

FYI, the HDX 17 gallon (click for HDX 17 gallon link) will fit in a 991 Turbo or 4S, it just needs a little modification 🙂
I found a couple other totes that fit without modification, but they were clear with a completely flat bottom. I wanted the black to better blend in and also wanted the ribbed floor. The ribbed floor provides a recess to keep the mounting hardware on my tank straps from grinding into the carpet. I have an OEM frunk liner that I planned to use for this purpose, but the walls taper too much making the bottom area too small.

Default Awesome solution

Was looking at the more expensive liners until I ran across this post..phew!! Saved me like $150 getting the HD version, got the red top. Fits like a glove! 😁 Getting some Porsche crest stickers to dress it up a little. 😂

Can anyone tell me the exact dimensions of their 991.1 frunk. I’m going out to PA this month to pick mine up (car and frunk) and I’d like to know what size luggage I can put in there. Would love to be able to put 2 carry ons in there??? Thanks
