This Saturday, I'm making Dr. Pepper Braised Boneless Short Ribs, the oven will be on for over 4 hours. I should be in the clear by Sunday.

Cool. Looking forward to seeing the end product.

Did you leave the 991 on blocks under the car cover?

No. Never store a car with the suspension unsprung. That would expose sensitive parts unnecessarily to elements they should not be exposed to for extended periods of time.

So you can remount the wheels while you're doing this project?

No.
However, leaving a car on on jack stands for a day or two is different than leaving it on stands for months/years.

But I think the OP was doing this on brand new rotors, not to rotors that were already on the car.
So if you want to do this on existing rotors, plan for downtime with the car.

Correct. These are new OE parts. Will be installed after winter hibernation.
