Default 991.2 Base Carrera Retrofit PSE valence

Not sure if anyone has done this before but I'm looking to install a Soul Performance trackback exhaust for PSE car. I currently have non-PSE base carrera but is it possible to retrofit the PSE rear bumper valence from suncoast?? Does it seem reasonable? Thanks

Don't think anybody has done it....but it's a interchangeable part. Should work without any hiccups...

Been curious about this myself...I think the diffuser would work what I'm unsure on is the exhaust itself and if any issues with that.

Soul Trackback exhausts are basically straight pipes from the turbo back. To my knowledge, this should work regardless of PSE or Non-PSE. The turbo back mounting structures are the same. The CATs are deleted, so that wouldn't be an issue. Mounting points are the same as well.

Thanks for this. What if the cats were not deleted? Are they in a different physical location on PSE vs non-PSE? Sorry OP dont mean to hijack but just in case you or anyone knows.

these are all great questions. The cats are different between PSE and non-PSE but location is the same. (From my understanding)

heres a post I came across last night who went from a standard non-PSE to a gt style exhaust. But he used the PSE valance and made a custom exhaust and trim

That is pretty cool!
So if I was replacing/eliminating cats as well, in theory everything would bolt up.

I do think the diffuser would work based on my discussions with the dealership in the past; however would be great to get confirmation. It looks like that link proves he did replace the diffuser.

You wouldn't be able to use the Trackback exhaust with Cats. It's basically a turbo back straight pipe.

Correct, Cat location is same, and the Turbo to Cat portion is the same. The Cat exits are different.

From SOUL, just emailed them:
"You should only need the rear bumper diffuser, everything else should bolt right up."

So, yes as turboback it would all bolt up; however unsure if it would be street legal where I am. Will follow up.

I was able to get the entire install instructions for for PSE from Suncoast. It’s a pdf and for some reason I cannot figure out how to attach it. Here’s a few very important pages on parts and install of the rear valence

you just read my mind. I believe you still would be able to reverse it, you would just have the cut out for PSE on the apron if you reinstalled the non PSE valence but it’s hidden by the valence. At least that’s my understanding so far.. I’m still researching more and I’m about to go out into the garage for a better look underneath

Its 100%. Very easy, 100% reversible. You need the heat shield too.

thank you 3DMetal!

so we need both trim pieces and the heat shield, do we need those metal brackets, rivets or anything else?
