991.2 C to GT3 / RS Center Exhaust Rear Valance. Work in progress.
Every performance 911 deserves a center outlet exhaust. Porsche reserves this design element only for the performance variants. For this project @ 600.4 WHP, I thought it needed one too.
Using the 991 PSE valance ( Porsche part number 991 505 811 04 ) and the GT3/RS as inspiration, we laser scanned the current body and cad modeled the new valance insert .
Original intent was to manufacture it from carbon fiber, but after experimenting with 3D aluminum printing it came out better than expected.
It was important to keep the original design language intact. Preserving the theme, proportions, horizontal bands, and texture , while adding to the Porsche original idea.
Original PSE:
Original NON PSE Car. ( will work for PSE Cars too )
On the lift, removing original exhaust.
Removed non-PSE heat shield.
Removed non-PSE valance.
Added PSE heat shield ( will need to be modified to remove center bit ). ( Porsche part number 991 505 811 04 )
Added PSE valance. ( not pictured in this step ). ( Porsche part number 991 505 475 04 )
The bumper covers are the same between both cars. PSE optioned cars have an additional section removed.
Installing the PSE valance insert. ( made from high temperature ABS ) as a fitment check.
Laser scan of the Exhaust and the new position of the tips.
** Its exactly the same as a 991 GT3/RS **
Prototype exhaust for this car.
Adding the PSE solenoid. ( you can add the PSE control valve, wire, and codding ).
Its a difficult install, as it requires running one wire from the air box all the way to under the drivers seat to the rear electronics control module.
I'm going to make a separate how too post.
First success !
Quick Paint.
Satin black for the center. Then a satin clear for the rest.
Late night gas station picture.
Wheels and Brakes next!!

With the valance like it is, I can install exhaust systems developed for / from the GT3 . The tips will land in the same place framed by the valance, so expanded exhaust options further from only the carrera market.

Cool. Interested how a gt3 exhaust can bolt up to a 991.2 carrera s or gts?

It looks very well made and beautiful. I think the c2 rear bumper doesnt do the center exit justice like a gt car tho.

3DMetal...as a GTS owner with what I call semi-center exhaust...I like your idea much better.

I like the look a lot!
3DMetal- if I have a non PSE car and just wanted to add the PSE valence to add a PSE soul performance exhaust, what all items would I need besides the exhaust trim, rear valence and rivets? Thanks!
