Buy Mobil 5W50 on sale at Napa for $5.99/quart. Twice a year they run a rebate. Knocks the price down to $3.99.

See my post above. The answer is no, it is not. Also, what constitutes high end oil? Is it simply charging more money for meeting the same spec?
Regular old Mobil 1 0w40 meets the proper spec and is available at walmart for about $25 for a 5qt jug. Cant beat that.
