Cuda911's Introduction to the 991 Forum
Hey all,
Many here know me from the 996 forum and the shenanigans in OT and P&C forums. In August of this year my 996 was rear-ended by a texting kid. I still have the car but now it has salvage title. I'm selling it to a friend.
Thanks to the amazing help of many here, I signed the contract yesterday for a 2012 991.1 S. The car is in PA and I am in San Diego, so finalizing the shipping arrangements. It should be here in a week or so. Figured I'd get a jump on posting my 991 intro thread with pix and stats from the dealer. Will post better pix when the car arrives. Can't wait!

Make sure you take a picture of it being off-loaded...bet it won't look like it was when it was loaded! But congrats, nice to see someone selling an older P-car and getting a newer one.

Congrat's Cuda! Nice build, enjoy your 991!
I've personally been frustrated with the lack of properly optkoned 991.2 base manuals coming on the market... I hesitated/missed out on a few earlier this year and was expecting to see more of them being offered, but so far that hasn't been the case. C'est la vie, I'll enjoy the 996 Turbo until the perfect 991.2 "turbo" comes around!

Great car, Cuda. You'll love it. Great color, too. It's a Chameleon based on different lighting conditions. Let us know how you like the extra 80 HP.

It's so funny to see the different packaging for the '12 and '13 models, and that the sticker prices were markedly lower compared to the later model years. I have loved my 991.1 C2 so far, and know you will too, especially with 400hp on tap compared to my 350
