Yes. I went to a local convertible top place that does lots of sports cars and has been in business many years. They advertise in the Porsche club magazines.. He had fabric sample books and confirmed what were OEM colors for my year. He orders form a company in Ca and I forgot its name.
He said my 2006 top still had 1-2 years useful life left.

I'd dye it before replacing it.
But I like the red, too.

I like the red top on some colors for the cab, but I had never seen it on a Targa before. It looks.. Odd. I'm not sure what to think about it. I think it works much better on the cab.

I had the top replaced on my 991 Cab under warranty, it's not $ 2,500! Dealer said the charge would have been $ 5,400 had it not been covered (non-repairable seam separation).

I am fond of a red cabriolet top...but only if it is tied together with a red interior. It looks out of place on that targa, but I feel part of the issue is that red seatbelts alone don't tie it together enough.
