Very much so, but I will be even happier when I get the ones for the steering wheel and wheels centers. And my 3 Miami Blue steering wheel inserts and key halves were shipped from Eric at Bumperplugs today and when those are installed I will be done.

I finally received the rest of my custom crests: 4 wheel center caps and 1 steering wheel crest. They all look great to me and along with the matching hood crest the look is complete. However, the steering wheel crest is about 1/2" taller so I could not just put it directly over the one on the steering wheel. Jim put 3M tape on it though so I centered it and while it is not flush on the airbag I still like it. I am waiting to hear back from Jim to see if he can make me one that is the same size as the one on the steering wheel, and if someone else got one from Jim as well please let me know what size yours is.

Otherwise, I am still debating whether to do the silver airbag trim ring in Miami Blue or Satin Black and I am having a different "targa" emblem for the dash trim that is half the size and I will put it on the right side of the trim vice centered, which is the way the emblem on the new Speedster is. Finally, I could not remove the cupholder symbol so I just covered it.

I emailed in Dec, Jan, and Feb and have yet to recieve a response. Would you mind using your Jedi powers and intergallictic powers to hook a brother up?

I will tell Jim that others are interested and that if he likes I can send them their emails so he can get it contact with them. Jim has been pretty busy with his day job and traveling, thus the 5 month wait for me to get all 6 custom crests.

Are you not worried about if that airbag goes off that it is going to shoot that new crest right into your chest/face like a piece of shrapnel?

Not worried at all since I like the way it looks too much to care. Besides, the odds of it happening are very small and when the airbag deploys the cover opens to let the bag, which should cause it to be propelled to one side or the other. And no, my wife likes it more than the remote risk as well.

I am having Jim make me a new steering wheel crest using the one that came on the 356 hood handle so it sits in the steering wheel opening better; I bought one and am sending it to him so when it comes back I will post an updated pic. Otherwise, I wrapped the silver trim ring on the airbag today, since it has been bothering me since I got the car. I originally thought about making it Black, as I did the Sport Chrono trim ring, but since I got the exact color wrap I thought I'd try it and I may leave it this way:

Bob
Did you attach it over the existing crest on the wheel? And if so what adhesive do you use?
