Have been lurking here for a while and learning when I had the urge to buy my first Porsche.

Settled on a used 2017 991.2 C2S

7spdMT
Sport Chrono
GT Sport SW
Heated 4way's
Metal sunroof.

It's my daily when I'm not driving the truck. Came out of M4 to this. Always wanted a 911 and, have to say, lives up to the hype.

Pictures...build sheet..or this didn't happen.

Welcome. Your going to love it. Was a BMW exclusive for the last 20 yrs. No regrets jumping off that into the 911 camp. Though I do keep a light on in my heart of an E39 again.

Cheers.

Congratulations on your 911! Great build as well. I definitely believe less is more with these cars. Are you in the Southwest? Your photo looks like AZ.

Thanks. Appreciate it.

HaliaX. I am also in the valley of the sun. Wife and I took the M4 and 991 up to Greer for an overnight followed by a drive down the 191 to Safford. The 991 is just fantastic down that road. The M4 ain't bad either.

That’s great! I need to check out that route. I’ve met 3 other Phx area Porsche owners here on Rennlist. We should all try to meet up and take some fun drives.

The only question is when will you start modding it? Unless you have to haul stuff, I can't imagine driving a truck over this. Bonus is the 911 should get better mpg than the truck too.
