Default I couldn't be happier!

I recently traded my '16 SL 400 on a '18 CPO GTS Cab. I made the switch because my SL was boring to me, but a really great car. I was concerned that the 911 wouldn't be the quality the MB was, but now I have no worries. Prior to the SL I owned a '14 C7 Convertible. I thought my performance days were over, I was wrong. This car is amazing, the Sport Chrono and Sport Response button is the coolest thing ever. Oh. I'm 75 and have been a car guy all my life. When I was a little younger, in my 50's/60's I built some fun old Hot Rods.

Congratulations on everything. Reading your post put a smile on my face! You'll find that the Porsche 911 is of much higher quality than anything else that's German... Inside and out.

Congrats on the GTS- awesome machine. Not to pile on to Mercedes, but I traded out of an E550 cabriolet pretty quickly. Stump pulling torque but nothing really special about the car- including workmanship, material quality and the handling in particular was blah. The ride over rough surfaces was just awful. Definitely more problems than my 911. I fail to see the attraction of Mercedes but the dealership was excellent.

Congrats on the new ride. I think for those of us that are multiple 911 owners we forget how really great these cars are compared to other premium brands.
I love my TTS and after 13 of these cars it would be my first choice again.

We talked via PM about finding a car and I am glad you found one that appears to be the one you wanted!

Not sure I totally agree, along with the 3 Porsche's I now have I have an AMG GTS, though it is in winter storage (along with my other summer cars), it is an amazing car and I not like any other MB I have ever owned.

This is the car for me, the only thing I wish it had is ACC. My SL had it and it's a great option.

Maybe if I had an AMG GTS I would have felt different.

of course a 911 will be a much more aggressive sports car than a larger heavier car but compare it with a SL AMG version and you will be greatly surprised Just compare a normal MB version with the AMG version and you will find a great difference
