Finally pulled the trigger - my first Porsche

Congratulations on your first Porsche!
I also aspired to owning a Porsche for most of my adult life and finally was able to pull the trigger around Thanksgiving on my new Carrera T.
Since then I have gone crazy buying Porsche stuff and nesting. It feels special every morning when the car rumbles to life before my commute to work.
If I hadn’t bought my T, I would have gone with the exact color combo you have. The Sapphire Blue with silver wheels and chrome exhaust and lettering is stunning. And the beige interior looks sweet with the blue exterior. Congratulations again!
Nesting with my new baby

Congrats to all new Porsche owners. They’re all a thing of beauty for sure! I too am a new-to-Porsche owner. Mine arrived two days ago and no words could describe how happy I am. Hope you all enjoy your 911 in good health and be sure to drive them like you stole ‘em.

Dkk16, I chose the S model over the others because to me it was the sweet spot between value and performance. I would have loved to get a GTS, but I had a price cap of $75k which put those out of reach for me. However, after driving the standard Carrera and the S, I could tell a little bit of a difference between the two. I'd have been happy with either, but the S is "just a little more" of the same great thing.

I had a 2014 911S cabriolet and loved it. It's a lot of fun to drive and reasonable practical too. How many other true sports cars can comfortably hold a wife and baby! Congratulations.

Great color combo! We are probably shopping and bidding on some of the same cars as blue / tan was one of my top choices. Where did you find this one? I feel like I probably looked at it (online) if it was listed on any of the major sites.
Congratulations! I just bought my first Porsche this week too, not going to pick it up until after Xmas though.

Lots of cool stories in here. I too am a new Porsche owner. I had a 911 poster on my wall much of my childhood, and I bought a 991 C2 a month ago. It’s so much fun and incredibly rewarding. Enjoy the hell out that sweet ride!

Vincenz0, I found it near Charlotte, NC at a Nissan dealership. I love the blue and tan, but I was open to a wide range of colors. Pretty much anything except red and yellow.
