Default Non-Leather T Interior Console Lid...

If you order the T-interior but not the full leather option (for countries like the US that offer it available that way.) Is the console lid still leather, or vinyl like a base car? The stitching makes me think it is always leather, but the configurator tells a different story...that the full leather interior adds a leather console lid.

You know, I'm no " T ' expert but, that car has thinner rear side glass and cloth door pulls etc for lightness. I could guess that the standard car would have vinyl in spots to cut weight. By adding the leather trim package you add more weight. So, why order the "T" once you've done that?

( A key Porsche issue is that the factory never ever reveals the weight of any options. Owners underestimate the performance loss options create.
The car total weights Porsche provides are DIN which means 90 % gas tank full. So, take the gas out and figure your car weight from there, going forward.)

There is no 911 variant featuring a vinyl console lid - the lid always comes in leather.

I've learned you can't always trust the configurator.

@KEY... I would never own a 911 without full leather.

@Porsche-Jeck Thank you. I didn't realize they were all leather.

@Porsch Absolute FACT

I have the bare bones black interior in my T (no upgrade)
1. The armrest is leather, and I believe this is the extended height one with the black stitching.
2. The transmission tunnel is leather with black stitching (not sure how this differs from the base carrera)
Its actually really nice, was pleasantly surprised.
