The "Unofficial" Carrera T Production Stats

Food for thought... just checked autotrader for 2018-2019 911s.
161 Ts on dealer lots in the US. Thats like 20% of produced cars, even though only 30 are manual
220 base carreras
139 carrera s
169 carrera 4s
101 gts
13 carrera 4
199 gt3
1 targa 4
16 targa 4s
Supply is there... There are nearly 3X the number of manual Ts as there are c4 and good luck finding a targa. I do agree dealers botched the T specs quite significantly, and this is reflected in the dramatic jump in pdk Ts for 2019.
At the end of the day, T owners tend to drive the crap out of their cars (present company included). So im not expecting any special treatment when I go to trade it in. Maybe 5k premium over a base with similar miles. Seems like a good idea to hang onto it and let the market dry up, then sell privately. Not anytime soon, as I love driving it

Yes, and apparently Total 911 agrees... The 50/50 split is a bit skewed from the normal WW production figures and distribution percentages, but the T was focused for and marketed to PCNA buyers more heavily from what I understand.
As my boy Janko Lind just said on his latest video, 'that's Speedster numbers'...
And I see now, with my edit, that this stuff has already been posted separately. Circular reporting, same source, etc.
In the end, it's a great car. And if the 'R' word comes into play eventually, that's just the cherry on top imo.

Yeah, I just watched the Janko video after I’d posted my question here, and noted that he quoted about 2,000 Ts, versus 1,948 Speedsters.
