likely cheaper due to the spec: seems to lack the options a T buyer would typically opt for - for ex: this car deleted the lightweight rear glass. Also had a low msrp to start.

Price seems below market...but if you go back to the listing, there is some question of why that vin is currently for sale at a dealer.
Great thread - great info on the T.
I’m considering a pre-owned T. It has all the right options and what was $118k new is now $98. Is the concensus these T cars (even with the right spec) continue to depreciate finding a bottom around $80k in a year or so...or do folks feel like the T will hold strong being somewhat limited and lightweight spec?
I know there is no crystal ball, just interested in opinions. I typically prefer to buy at the bottom of the curve - for ex: manual 997 GTS in 2017 (that car is probably never going to be any cheaper)
spec on the T: 2k miles, no sunroof, manual

That one looked to have an aftermarket exhaust too! Plus Xpel. Good spec with some but buckets are not my preference.
There is a yellow one at West Houston with Buckets for 89k... https://www.porschewest.com/certified/Porsche/2018-Porsche-911-Houston-0bc391d30a0e0ae923444241794af5d8.htm
At the moment 87 Ts for sale, which only 23 manuals. These are slowly disappearing, only 2018 models, newer not available for euro zone. Lowest asking prices for used Ts start around 100.000 euros, so prices are staying fairly constant.
if compared to gt3 touring, there is about 60 cars for sale on that site.
so conclusion, manual T is much rarer on sale than gt3 touring, which was only available with manual trans.

Had a drive in a T with the buckets today. This one, in fact. Very comfortable once in, but a bit more effort to get in & out compared to my Sport Seats Plus. Am happy with my choice, being a relatively high mileage daily driver.

nice!
Re: Buckets - No wrong choices- to each his own - but I think the buckets are part of what make the T special.
- Buckets
- Rear Wheel Steering
If I am correct these are 2 items that can not be had outside of a GT car, so definitely 2 options I went for on my T.
ceramics certainly fit the lightweight theme - I think they save 30lbs or so? I would have opted for these but found my T pre-owned with low miles for a $24k discount with everything I wanted except the brakes.
mixed reviews on brakes - some say must have, others say steel in the way to go.
Curious how T owners feel about T’s spec’d with the heavy glass sunroof and PDK. Seems to me these options work against the soul of the T car, but again - to each his own.
i love the sport design bumper - bummed my T wasnt spec’d with that. Can always be added - part available at suncoast.
Buckets look great! But I find my seats perfect for me, and more practical for a year round daily driver. Plus I regularly have passengers in my rear seats.
My T has manual transmission and no sun roof.
P.S. Other 911s can now spec RAS, outside just the GT cars.
Other features on the T from GT cars are fabric door pulls and lightweight rear glass.

This is one of the main factors used to determine seat choice. I had a 2016 M3 for over 2 years and had passengers only 2 or 3 times. We are fortunate enough to have an SUV and sedan in the garage if I ever need to cart someone around. This car was just for me since I did not have to consider passengers or anything and after getting in and out of the seats a few times I figured out a way to make it just a little awkward. The seats are great and give me the experience I am looking for in my DD. Like you said, to each his\her own!!!
