Sound increase - Headers vs Exhausts

I have a base 2018 991.2 with no PSE. I do not like the sound of the exhaust and I am confused between headers and exhaust. Some people told me headers (IPE, Fabspeed, etc) will sound better and louder while others said custom exhaust (Fabspeed X-Pipe, Tubi). I do not want something with switch as I prefer valve open all the time.
I would appreciate any advice as I do not want to spend a lot as I may swap the car for an GTS in a year (worst case 1.5 years) or so.
Thank you
