I installed my FF Garage frame on my 993 yesterday. I agree with your comments. My car is registered in Pennsylvania too. I thought I saw the FF Garage frame on your car. Lol. I like your vanity plate!
Go naked. Let's just say that I have professional expertise in the area of cops pulling people over in the state of Florida and according to Florida legal precedent, if the frame covers even the slightest unimportant area of a license plate that contains a letter or number or even the area that would say "Sunshine State," you can be pulled over for that reason alone. I'm a proud UF grad that would love to have a Gator plate frame. However, I go naked on my current vehicle because of an unfortunate FL Supreme Court ruling regarding traffic stops and plate frames. The ruling that I'm referring to gives cops way too much authority to pull people over simply because a plate frame ever so slightly blocks what many would believe to be an insignificant portion of a license plate.

i acknowledge your concern. Good point! I know from experience that if law enforcement wants you they will manufacture an excuse. Some that I have attacked are; Vehicle swerving, tailight/stoplight not working, license plate light in operative, etc. Some underlying reasons law enforcement use to circumvent the fourth amendment and search your vehicle or person. Law enforcement also uses these explanations to justify probable cause for DUI and to administer field sobriety tests. If they want you, they will get you. Too many years!
Starts again Monday morning!!

Ha so true, lucky for me I get Monday off. Hoping the same for you. Shared sentiments regardless.
Apparently I'm not the only anxious one purchasing plate frames, CTEK battery charger, car cover etc long before vehicle is scheduled to arrive. Heck, I even cleaned my garage yesterday in preparation of 1/19 delivery.
During Prime Day someone posted this. Picked up two for $11.99. It's silicone and covers the entire back of the plate. So that's what is against the paint which I appreciate. Installed it on the GT4 tonight.
Contrary to many, I like some letters on the frame. Historically, I have a thin PCA frame in chrome and a regular Porsche OEM "There is no substitute" one in black.
It it feels like that, I sometimes replace one with another when I put my new registration label on.
Plus 1... except I like the thin black frame with the white letters "There is no substitute"
