Thanks - you may be the first I've "met". I absolutely love your color - very different and bold yet classy. Didn't they discontinue yours as of 2018 too?
I actually prefer it over GT Silver - more blue in it vs brown. I have a friend with a ‘16 Cayman GTS in that color and it is stunning.
Sapphire blue is no more...I am sure the next blue they come out with will be gorgeous but I really love my SB!
IMO, both great colors, but I feel like Chalk is more of a fad.
GT Silver is timeless.
I agree on both counts. Seeing the flat based colors on Tacomas and other brands will instantly date a car to "that time when they were doing the earth tones."
BUT, if you love chalk, ignore everything and everyone else and get it.

I love the SB as well. I have a 991 build coming up and SB was no longer offered, so went with GT Silver. But I will likely wrap the car after 6 months - either SB or Irish Green...
I had the exact same decision to make on my GTS and struggled with it until I saw a chalk Turbo S pull in to the gas station I was at. Done deal - chose chalk. GT Silver is certainly nice and is 'safe', but ultimately I decided to do something a little different. Both colors look really good with the black parts. I added CF mirror caps / triangle, pccb, and glass roof, painted skirts and diffuser to complete the look.
I havent second guessed it yet, but felt good to move on from it. Good luck.
Shared a similar experience.. Chalk has to be appreciated in person. Depending on the light/ time of day, the variations in color keeps it interesting as well.
