Decisions, decisions, GT Silver or Chalk?? How to chose?

C'mon. It's impossible to decide!
Such a beautiful car!!! How does one chose between these two gorgeous colors? Silver is classic and understated, and the chalk just looks so cool depending on the light!

There is no wrong answer. :D

My personal preference would be the GT Silver, though... :icon107:

First world problem :) I'm loving the GT Silver myself - never seems to get dirty?

IMO, both great colors, but I feel like Chalk is more of a fad.

GT Silver is timeless.

How long are you keeping the car? If you trade cars every three years or so then why not chalk?

If not, GT silver is what I want in my garage. Never a bad choice.

GT Silver

GT Silver will be much easier to maintain and to keep looking like new. Chalk is just like Guards Red... A pain to maintain.

Agreed. GT Silver is spectacular and Classic, especially on red interior. Chalk is also beautiful IMO but not sure how long it will be popular. Like matte finished cars....for their owners sake I hope they are all leased.
If Leasing I'd go Chalk for sure, if buying I'd go GT Silver.

OK, I own GT silver..... its really sharp and a great silver and everything about hiding a little dirt is true. I DD and I park in the company lot so I did also want to be a little lower key with the color while also driving a kick a** Porsche so its served that purpose.

But... its your car and you either love silver cars or not and there are a TON of silver cars. I personally would pick a different color just for variety and am thinking about a wrap just to mix it up because I love the car and the configuration but im getting tired of the silver. I think Porsches in white are really sharp and any slight modifications you do with wheels, etc can really show well.

^another good point. Check on your way home tonight.........90% of the cars out there are shades of grey, black or white.

If you're questioning it, stick with GT Silver. It's the safe choice you won't regret. They are very different side-by-side.

I could be biased but GT Silver.

A lot of feedback here. Thanks! I've added a poll, though I suspect the clear winner will be GT Silver.

Be unique and get chalk.

I had GT Silver previously, and although it's a nice color I always wished I had a different color. And in certain lighting it just looked.. I don't know how to describe it. Dull and worn? Not sure what words to use, it just didn't pop.

Every time I see a chalk car on the road my eyes are immediately drawn to it and I think it looks really sporty and contemporary, so that's what I ordered on my GT3. It's also much less common than silver. Silver Porsches are a dime a dozen.
