Wheels. Make your car look different ....unless you're tracking.

Bob any updates? Its amazing the extra cost of PCCB if you do not spec from the factory.
When i placed my order PCCB cost me 10K $.
When i asked my dealer to upgrade to PCCBs after 800 miles of my car the quotation was 35K $.

For PCCB upgrade is mandatory to change the brake booster in GTS cars.

I concluded to proceed with PCCBs first and lightweight wheels later. Target to save 80 lbs rotation insertia.

No, not yet. I just cannot seem to justify spending $30k or so to upgrade them and will go with some carbon pads, as others have been doing.

For sure no one can justify 30K$ for PCCBs. There are some available kits on ebay. Follow up and buy one.

So I need the Turbo kit and not the GT3 kit, right?

Yes you need the Turbo, Turbo S kit. GT3 kit is different hubs, offset. You have to make sure you buy the latest version 3 generation PCCBs. In any case the PCCB disks have production date. You need to target on late 2017.
Finally you need to upgrade your brake booster as PCCBs have different brake booster than Iron disks.

Thanks nilaz. Someone else recently said I do not need to change the boosters (?). And why is the latest version 3 needed and production date important?

I spray some armor all brake dust repellent on my front wheels after each wash. With this stuff on brake dust has not been a problem with my steels at all. I'd rather pocket that 8k and use it for a full ppf or something else.

Late PCCB brakes have seriously improved over early generations.

You have to upgrade your brake booster. The main cylinder pressure for PCCB is different than Iron rotors. Actually its a different part numbers.

Roger that, thanks again. I will get the part#s from the seller and bounce them off a parts place or search the forum to be sure I get the correct ones.
