Default Curb rash. Repaired? Replace?

I'm looking for opinions about what to do for my 2017 Carrera S. As you may know, I bought it over the summer with 2200 miles. The pictures below are the right front wheel. It looks like it hit a curb and they made an attempt at repair. It's obviously not perfect. I think the outer edge his machined not painted and it's probably not easy to add material and finish it seamlessly.

Would you:
1. Leave it, drive it and forget about it. It did take me a few weeks to even discover this. But now that I see it annoys me.

2. Make another attempt refinishing. I'm skeptical it could be made like new.

3. Get a new wheel. The dealer quoted $2300. I'm tempted. Tell me if this is crazy.

winter storage will begin soon, so it wouldn't be a big deal to make number 2 happen. Please let me know if I'm missing another option

#3 is definitely crazy for that level of "damage". I vote #2 since it clearly bothers you enough to make this thread...I think that rules out #1

Go to this website: https://www.awrswheelrepair.com/

Have them hook you up with someone local.

Give that person 1 hour to make your wheel perfect again.

Pay $100.

Slip the tech an extra $20 if he/she came to your office and did a great job.

Keep it, and do this. Then contact a place like Wheel Enhancement, and ask them for a "take-off" for much less $$$ than the dealership quote.

Seems minor to me. Not the perfect fix, but acceptable. What I would do is nothing for now - drive on it. Chances are that - wheels being wheels - there will be more damage to wheels as the miles pile on. Wait for more nicks and scratches than have them refinished.

Just drive on it until you really hit a curb.

Just drive it - more imperfections to come...It's the reality. Plus - you are miost likely the only one noticing if you are not taking it to the Concourse….

Drive it for another 5-10K miles then reconsider. Your choices #2 and #3 will magically disappear from the running

Drive it for a while, make sure you are comfortable parking the car and such first, so you don't curb a wheel yourself, then refinish.

The first cosmetic hits drive you crazy, I have found out that as the miles pile on, you get used to these blemishes and the driving isn't changed, so enjoy!

Like others said, drive it till you hit something else, who knows, that may not happen, and repairs are available. You may refinish all your wheels some time in the future, leave it till then.

#1. In a few weeks you’ll forget its even there. If it still bugs you six months from now, have it refinished. Just know it’s not likely to ever be perfect or match exactly. No way I would spend $2300 just because of that.

If it bothers you do much and starting to affect your sleep, get a new one. You want perfection. And get the wheel coated and wheel insurance.

Yes, crazy.

Get one of those memory-erasing flashy things like in Men in Black, and use as required.
