Default Front Side Marker Lights-Clear or Amber?

Suncoast sells clear side marker lights the are easy to swap for $120
https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...1LEDSIDES.html
I like the look better than amber but on my configured 991.2 (C2S) ordered a couple months ago, the photo shows it already has the clear side markers!
I'll attach a photo copied from the configurator of my car.

Is the photo wrong & will I actually get the Amber colored ones?

If you are in the US, you will get the ambers.

BTW - 981 side markers also fit. I transferred the markers from my Cayman to my 911.

Thanks!

Seems the photos are not accurate.

Very misleading, IMO.

So far I see 2 wrong things in the photo, one good & one bad for me.

Photo shows the headlight washers (Nipples) which I do not want & understand I will not get.

2nd is it shows clear markers & I apparently will get the amber/yellow ones.

I think I will buy the Suncoast, LED ones & swap them out.

I did the same with the markers, and also transferred the Porsche all-weather mats from the Cayman to the 911.

Am I correct that the Suncoast clear lenses do have amber LED bulbs? So, when you turn on your turn signal, it is orange & not white?

See if your dealer will toss them in when you take delivery.

they are side markers... pretty certain that the clear vs amber issue does not rise to the level of “very misleading” given that the only people who care about such things are in this forum. We could take a poll, I could be wrong about the scope and long term PTSD implications of this national crisis.

BTW, the parts counter at your dealer also sells clear side markers.

Stock photo is often of a EU spec car. I wouldn't worry about your car being equipped incorrectly from order specs.

If you end up buying the clear markers yourself, be sure to get the LED versions. There is a bulb version, too (for less money), but it doesn't look as good because you can see the orange bulb behind the lens. The LED looks clear/white throughout, until turned on.

Good idea. I am getting PEC delivery though.
IDK if PEC has a Parts Dept.

I'll ask PEC, once I get a delivery date scheduled.

There are actually 4 different versions of the front turn signals that I know of:

Amber (standard bulbs)
Amber LED
Clear (amber bulbs)
Clear LED

All will illuminate with an amber color, but IMHO the Clear LEDs are the way to go. I was lucky enough to find a lightly used set on Ebay for $60 when I had my Cayman, and then transferred them to my 991 before I sold the 981.
