New Turbo S Cab or Targa 4GTS
#16
Both would be amazing choices. I originally tried to get a Turbo S cab, but couldn't get an allocation. I ended up with a GTS cab instead, and I've been extremely happy with it. It's more fun and nimble in many ways than the Turbo S, and I put a tune on it so it's really fast, too. I'm sure I would have been very happy with the Turbo S as well, although I think looks wise and sound wise the GTS needs less work from stock than a Turbo S does.

The Targa will sound better stock, and is quite the looker. That would be my choice based on your goals. That said, both cars have a lot of potential in regards to the sound, here are a couple clips of what they can do.

You did not mention whether you want a manual or PDK but since you are considering a Turbo S Cab I guess you don't need to. Personally, if it does not have a manual I don't want it, which is why I will never own a newer Ferrari or Lambo.

PS The shotgun accessory in the photo above is not OEM. Rumor has it he was 'made to order.'

No worries, you will enjoy whatever you decide but needless to say you should drive them both since the Targa & Cab experiences are different. Almost every one of the sports cars I have owned has been a Cab or Targa ('87 930 with a sunroof) and I sold a C7 with the targa top since the turbulence was bad and the top was manual; the seats were not good for my back either. I have driven a few Ferrari models and while I liked them I still want a manual, but maybe one day...

I owned a 1986 Targa and the thing leaked like a siv......I'm hopeful that they have improved the design.
In speaking with the salespeople at several dealerships I was told that any model Targa is rare and it is the most sought after besides the GT cars.....must be popular for a reason..

Yes, the design is totally different and I have yet to hear of any 2015+ Targa leaking.
