It seems like you mean water depth. Don't do it. Get a beater small pickup or Jeep for use in rainy weather. Depreciation of your 991.2 will be lower with fewer miles, and you'll need to do a lot less cleaning. . No use driving a 911 in lousy weather. Save it for when the good times roll and you'll enjoy it more. That's my advice.

I don’t think wadding is going to help you with flash floods. No matter how much wadding you can wrap around your 911, the water might still get through. Maybe put it on a lift or higher ground?

None, it’s not a Range Rover. Curious on why you would drive a sports car through flooded streets?

Having said that, wadding will depend on what gauge cannon bore you use to launch your 991 over the flooded section.

I appreciate the sarcasm but respectfully ask again. look I can’t move and Oklahoma has flash floods you can’t predict these things. If things are flooded yes I’ll drive my Ford F-250 but you can easily get caught in a downpour here

The intakes are up on top the engine, the exhausts are about 8-9 inches up. Electrical all higher than that.
I wouldnt drive through water more than 5 inches high, which reaches the bottom of the car.
In an emergency, you could probably drive through water 18 inches high ( quickly),
but you might get water in the fruck and interior and water would start to enter the exhaust.

Ya, the stuff that will die of water is so high and so far back, it is basically whether you can drive through without flooding the interior or floating away. Maybe there is some sensor that could be damaged under the car, but I sort of doubt it.
