Driving it like I stole it. Its a blast on track, manual and all. So easy as you spend almost all of your time in 3rd and 4th. Most of the 25 laps or so in the rain. This car is awesome!!
9% off seems good. I only got about 6% off, on a car sitting so long the rotors rusted (beyond surface rust), and the tires got flat spots. And it wasn't my perfect build.
My perfect T has been sitting on a dealer's lot for a year now. They refuse to budge beyond 9%. I can wait them out. Or just get a 997 GT3.
Don't wait, grab the 9% discount and start enjoying the car. I only got $5K off, but I got to customer order the exact options which I couldn't find so I'm happy w/ what I paid ($108K after discount).
Life is too short to keep waiting and waiting for the price to come down and there won't be too many new T's available and who knows if Porsche will make another T version of the 992.

Once you factor in 1. Warranty vs No Warranty and 2. the difference between the 9%% disc. and what you want to pay, what decision are you going to wish you had made a year from now?

I don't need the car. I have a perfect 991.2 now. The only change I would make is for a manual versus my current PDK. I'm waiting to see if they come down to the price I want. If not I'm going to pick up a 997 GT3.
Basically if I get the price on the T where I want it I'll buy it. But if I find the right 997 GT3 I'll buy it. Whichever comes first.
I'm not going to call it out until I'm finished waiting them out or move on. I've learned on this forum not to point out a car that is of interest. Seem to have lost two of them that way!

Not sure if that was directed at me. If so, I'm not look at the RS. Out of my league, unfortunately.
Woohoo! I've had my T now for 15 months and today it turned 8,000 miles.
I showed it at the local PCA Concours D'elegance that was held at The Woodlands (north of Houston) and was nice to hear so many positive comments and great reactions to the mods done to the T so far. The hood/spoiler stripes and the Sports Design spoiler were the two things everyone commented on.
And happily, we won 1st. place for the 3rd. consecutive time, with a score of 179.9 out of 180.
