Thanks, S S! Just talked to my guy, heading in today to make the magic happen. The question now is to check the Euro delivery option or not.

Wing Commander, your car is awesome! Have you driven a T/Carrera with the 20 inch wheels? If so, would you say the 19's offer more comfort? They look really good!

Thanks!

I’ve driven 8k miles on the 20” Carrera S wheels and so far only 110 miles on the 19” Carrera wheels with winter tyres.

To be honest, so far I’ve not really noticed an appreciable difference in comfort between the two. Am hoping the winters come into their own when the temperatures drop here soon.

Cheers

Had a buddy/co-worker who lived in the Castle Pines/Castle Rock area and worked in Colorado Springs. Drove an E36 M3 coupe w/summer tires on it. Surprisingly made it into work most days w/the exception of when someone may have spilled a slurpee on I-25. All that being said, I do hear it's amazing how well 911s do, in general, on a proper set of winter tires.

You're certainly right, I think Carrera's in general probably behave the best of any RWD car... Having said that AWD and proper tires change the game completely.

I'll have the same cars - Carrera T for my "toy" and an Audi S3 for my daily. Great combo!

Wing commander - the 19s look great! Months away from having a T of my own but already considering that set for winter use. Look forward to more impressions from you once you put some more miles on.

Thanks! I had been resisting road discs due to all of the half-baked offerings, but Specialized finally developed a bike that I think fully integrates them without compromise. It has not disappointed!

Yes. Wish I had waited a bit for the Disc. When I got the Tarmac SL6 non-Disc I knew the disc was just down the road.

Hope all is well with the accident! Sorry to hear what happened.

Thanks!

I’ll post an update once I’ve done some miles in winter (sub 7 degrees centigrade) conditions.
