Looks like you beat me to it!

Get home and car sits for 3 or 4 hours then I try again and it connects normally. Albeit I had to choose the options that are chosen the first time it is connected ( do you want to use htis as an ipod or iphone etc). I suppose this is because the service guy erased the carplay settings and restored it all to default.
This is pretty frustrating, as now I feel like a trip to the dealer for this might be a waste of time, and the dealer is not close to me.

Anyone else run into this? tks

i have encountered the same problem on new '19 tts; won't connect about half the times i try. it seems to not be a iphone firmware update as i'm running 12.2. just saw suggestion from @marinb about usb accessory switch that, if off, won't allow connection to phone if it's been locked for over an hour- it was switched off on mine. switched it back on and will test later, but seems like likely culprit. thanks, marinb!

Mine did this yesterday as well - resolved after the car sat for a couple hours. Super annoying.

Had a similar issue a few weeks ago. Tried unlocking the phone, and tried other things and no go. Let the car sit for at least some hours and now works fine.

Same issue here with my 2019 991.2 C4S. Most of the time it connects with no issues, twice in the past couple of weeks it did not connect. Lock the car, wait a few hours, everything connects with no problem.

Is there a way to reboot/restart the PCM while driving the car?
