Default 91Y vs 95Y

Is there any reason to shy away from 95Y tires? I like the idea of a stiffer sidewall up front but wouldn't want to disrupt any handling characteristics of the car.

What are you running?

Different Porsche models have different requirements. In the spec you use, the number (95) is the load index. It's the load capacity that the tire will bear: ie. 95 = 1,521 lbs per tire. The letter (Y) is the tires speed rating: Y = 186+ mph. For safety reasons you always want the load index to equal or exceed the manufactures requirement. Neither of these specs have anything to do with sidewall stiffness.
