the new cars have it outside. The old aircooled ones had it inside also.. that unmistakable mix of burned oil, rubber and german upholstery... you could blinfold a guy and he'd know he's inside an old 911. Ok the door "click" would have given it away also... Some things never change.

I have exactly the same thing, I usually drive the car in manual mode and after blipping I’ll and down the gears I notice a really strong smell of oil. On a recent trip the smell was really choking inside the cockpit. No idea what it is and no sign of leaks so far…
