Heavily optioned T ordered

.. and you're not alone -- while mine won't be quite that much, it's not far off As others have said, get it the way you want it, especially if (like me) you intend to keep it for some time.

Thanks guys.
tried to add leather fuse cover today with yellow stitching. The car order is showing “in process” status in the system so can’t be updated.
SA said they will check daily and add that in. Looks like I should be getting some date updates soon. Exciting.
also got complete PPF quote Xpel Ultimate Plus - $6500
ceramic coating si3DhD - $600
window tint Xpel XR - $575

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur responded that no CXX customization allowed on Carrera T, of any kind.
Meaning I can order leather fuse box cover but I can not request yellow stitching it will come standard black on black. Same for gear shifter boot.
so only choice is to order separately

looking at all the leather trimmed everything cxx options, i think i'd have a heart attack trying to not damage anything or trusting someone after installing my dash cam. told my wife if in 10-15 years we have the money to do it, im gonna go nuts on the configurator.

The wait is just....well you guys know
To keep busy I will be ordering few accessories every month
Mean while I found a guy in England who does these by hand in water color. Its A3 size so and to fiddle a little with frame solution.
Asked him to do one in blue, his first
I did highlights on the engine cover grill and exhaust myself with metalic paint pencil

So now the 992 has been launched and my order still has a day before it locks. I thought I would do one last comparison between the 992 and 991.2 to make sure I made the right decision.
I ordered the 991.2 because I didn’t like the styling queues of the 992 compared to the 991 inside and out. Engine power wasn’t a primary concern.
The new interior is just not to my taste, too many straight lights, edges and corners. The PDK shifter is , well everyone knows. Manual is currently not available. But I spec’d an equivalant S and the price for me would go up by $16k and I still wouldn’t like the styling. So overall I am happy I made the right decision.
